Cyber Power Systems (USA), Inc., a leader in power protection and power management products, announced today that it has been recognized by CRN®, a brand of The Channel Company, on the 2024 Edge Computing 100 list. This list honors the 100 leading edge computing companies for 2024 across three key categories: Edge Hardware, Software and Services; IoT and 5G Edge Services; and Edge Security.

The technology vendors featured on the 2024 CRN Edge Computing 100 list are recognized for providing channel partners with the technology to build next-generation edge solutions that support faster data analytics and stronger edge security for their customers.

Gathering and processing data close to the source for analytics and securing remote and hybrid workers have emerged as critical business differentiators that rely on edge technologies. These solutions help end customers improve productivity, reduce latency, strengthen security and advance their digital transformation journey.

In the Edge Hardware category, CRN cited CyberPower for its innovation with its PFC Sinewave 1U Rackmount UPS (uninterruptible power supply) systems. In a compact, rackmount form factor, the 1U line of UPS systems are ideal for many edge computing environments where dependable backup power protection and power management of devices is required. The CyberPower PFC Sinewave UPS systems feature active power factor correction (PFC) and sine wave output with line-interactive topology to correct minor power fluctuations without switching to battery power, providing energy savings and operational efficiency.

“When it comes to powering and protecting sensitive electronics or expensive components at the edge such as security cameras, sensors or other devices, we believe we’re offering best-in-class solutions. Producing high-density and small form-factor battery backup units that fit into edge computing environments has been a strategic focus and an area where we bring options and innovation. These power protection solutions help our partners supply organizations with the protection they need to prevent damage from power surges or outages while supporting uptime and productivity,” said Brent Lovett, president and general manager at CyberPower. “It’s an honor to again be recognized by CRN in this effort.”

“The vendors on the 2024 Edge Computing 100 list are standouts in providing technologies that make innovative edge solutions possible,” said Jennifer Follett, vice president, U.S content, executive editor at CRN The Channel Company. “These advanced technologies empower channel partners to offer outstanding solutions that help their customers operate efficiently, optimize data analytics, and stay secure across remote environments. We congratulate all the vendors on the list and look forward to seeing how they continue to advance edge technologies.”
